One must-see is "Little Havana," the predominately Cuban area of the city. Then there’s the stereotypical but oh-so-fun phenomena that is South Beach. With the beautiful ocean view and beautiful people, South Beach lives up to its reputation as a place of excess. With tons of clubs, restaurants, boutiques and places to celebrity-watch, South Beach is fundamental to experiencing the Miami way of life. It’s also a great place to enjoy some exercise, soak up some rays, and relax away the day by the beach.
The Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is another popular attraction for anyone visiting or staying in Miami. Built for a Chicago industrialist, this estate was opened to the public after his death. It’s well regarded for its fine collection of European antiques and opulent architecture that does truly give the feel of being in a faraway place and time.
